"A multi-layered narrative" is a master's thesis on Adriena Šimotová's work "Double Head", written by Jacqueline Schorn, who studied conservation and restoration at the University of Fine Arts in Vienna. In early 2025, she approached me to design and compose her work. Her goal was for the dissertation to be more than just another academic text – it should feel like a magazine, engaging and visually enjoyable to read.

The main part primarily documents her restoration process, so it was crucial that the images and text guide the reader smoothly from start to finish. Equally important was the use of generous white space, allowing certain sections to stand out and capture the reader’s focus. To echo the format of the main work, "Double Head" – a long, narrow artwork – the images are often displayed along the full length rather than the width, reflecting the piece’s unique proportions.
